Contract (Spay/Neuter)
This contract will apply to pet only puppies with limited AKC registration that will be spayed or neutered. By signing this contract, I understand and agree to the following:
This puppy is the product of two purebred AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi parents without any apparent health problems, known hereditary conditions, or show faults. This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and free of infectious disease at the time of sale. Your puppy was examined by a vet before you received it and given a clean bill of health. You will get a copy of the health certificate and a shot record indicating when the next shots are due.
The breeder can give you a refund only if your puppy has an infectious disease confirmed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at your own expense within 72 hours after taking possession of the puppy. If at that time your puppy is not in good health or has an infectious disease, you agree to produce a written report from the examining vet within 72 hours. It must include contact information, a statement describing the health issues, and a statement that the problem is entirely attributed to the breeder for a refund to apply. Also, you agree to return the puppy to the breeder at your own expense.
This puppy is guaranteed to be free of genetic conditions or hereditary conditions for one year.
I (the buyer) will NOT receive a refund if I change my mind regarding this purchase, find a cheaper, lesser quality puppy elsewhere, suddenly develop allergies, or my landlord disagrees with my purchase. Adding a new puppy to my household can be a 15-year commitment. Therefore, I have given my decision a considerable amount of thought before committing to purchase. Life-changing events can happen, and should I be unable to keep my puppy at any time during his/her life, I will contact the breeder for arrangements to return, or gain assistance in re-homing him/her. I will never forfeit ownership to a pound, rescue, or shelter. Should the need arise for me to return my puppy to the breeder, I will do so at my expense and I understand that a refund will not be given.
A third-party sale makes this contract null and void, as does the evidence of abuse, neglect, accident, lack of adequate quality food, water, and/or shelter. The breeder/seller will not be responsible for injury or accident to the puppy or the cost for any type of care once he/she leaves breeder care. There are no guarantees for eye color, ear set, size, or working ability.
This puppy WILL require medical attention at some point during his/her lifetime, and I, the buyer, am prepared to pay all vet expenses from this point forward. I am making this purchase because I believe this puppy is in good health at the time of sale. I am aware this puppy has recently been de-wormed, and worms may be present in the stools as wormer is designed to rid the intestinal tract of parasites. I am also aware that healthy vaccinated puppies are still susceptible to contagious disease and parasites though every effort has been made to prevent this unfortunate occurrence.
This contract does not cover any internal or external parasites or protozoa. These are common treatable conditions in puppies and dogs, and I am aware my puppy could easily contract such an issue on the trip home.
This puppy must be spayed or neutered at 12-18 months of age. Studies show that dogs NEED their hormones for proper growth and many other health reasons prior to this age before spay/neuter. Please do your research on this issue.
No other guarantees are expressed or implied. This contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Missouri. In any dispute, it is agreed that the venue shall be in Vernon County, under Missouri law.
I understand that I am responsible for continuing puppy vaccination and de-worming, flea and tick control, adequate quality nutrition, fresh water, a warm/dry place to sleep, a fenced or supervised area for exercise and bathroom needs, and lots of love.
